Elections

No not the General Election. There is enough comment on that already without me adding more. On this occasion I am talking about elections held within membership based organisations.

Over the years I have advised a range of organisations on their elections procedures. So much so that I thought it would be helpful to write a paper laying down the theory behind elections.

Of course it’s one thing knowing the theory, it’s another thing bringing all the parts together into an event which is non controversial and where all contestants feel that they were treated fairly.

New paper – Code of Conduct

Following recent work undertaken with trade association partners, we have uploaded onto the Cynosura website a new paper on ‘Code of Conduct’ for organisations.

The paper is not designed to be exclusive to not for profit organisations, it is also a practical first step for businesses who wish to assemble a code for their employees or partners.
